L.A.'s Griffith Observatory to reopen
Good news for families, view seekers, and star (stellar as opposed to Hollywood) gazers: After being closed for renovations and expansion since early 2002, the Griffith Observatory is set to reopen late this fall. When it reopens it will have five new exhibition halls, an education center, a theater, and an updated planetarium.
