Can we expect the service on flights to improve?
Well, I`d expect it but I`m afraid in reality that won`t happen.... Best idea for flying from Europe or Australia to the US now : book a flight that brings you to Canada or Mexico and take the last leg to the US from there. At least you get to keep your handluggage during the flight and can read or listen whatever you like :wink:.
