Hitchhiking in Australia and in New Zealand?
I will be traveling to New Zealand and then to Australia in October and November respectively and was wondering if hitchhiking is a good option to consider for either of the countries? Is it safe? Will it just be a waste of time waiting for rides? Are poeple very hospitable when it comes to giving rides? Would it be safer to try to find another person to join me?
