We have a car hired (or will do!) between Picton and Christchurch via Kaikoura and on the drive between there & Christchurch we want to stop off somewhere on the drive. Now lve noticed a place called HAMMER SPRINGS which has thermal spas - has anyone ever stopped off here - is it worth it for an afternoon? Can l chill out in a spa! ...
