Slide near Yosemite closes road
A major rockslide is blocking Highway 140 between much of Mariposa County and Yosemite National Park. Though there are other ways to access the park (Highway 120 provides access for those traveling from the Bay Area; there are unobstructed routes from the south as well), this slide cuts off the direct route between the town of Mariposa and the park.
